Percussion at Lincoln Southeast High School
The percussion section at Lincoln Southeast is becoming known for excellence in both marching and concert percussion. Students in the program gain experience on a variety of instruments, including (but not limited to):
We believe in developing well-rounded percussionists, and it is our goal to give our students as many different experiences and opportunities as possible while they are at LSE.

- Marching percussion instruments
- Snare drum
- Keyboard Percussion (Marimba, Xylophone, Vibraphone, Bells)
- Timpani
- Drumset
- World Drumming (Bongos, Congas, Cajon, Timbales, etc.)

- 2018 Best Percussion at LINKS Marching Invitational
- 2018 NMEA Showcase Performing Group - Percussion Ensemble
- 2017 Most Outstanding Percussion Section at Lincoln Public Schools Marching Invitational
- Numerous Division 1 Ratings at LPS Solo/Small Ensemble Contest
- Members of the Wind Ensemble performed at the Nebraska Music Educators Association Conference
- Many members in All-City auditioned groups such as Pangea Steel Drum Band and Lincoln Youth Symphony
